The Chud Grill is one of the most versatile grills on the market, with a front door for charcoal access and airflow, two side vents and two pin wheel vents on the lid. All external parts are made of 14-gauge 304 stainless steel so it won't rust and because stainless steel retains heat longer than carbon steel, we were able to use thinner material without sacrificing quality.

The door makes easy access to move your charcoal, or add more without having to move your food, and ash is easy to clean out with a scoop under the charcoal grate.

Awesome!

The quality is awesome and I have no complaints there. Would be 5 stars but the assembly instructions were very unclear so if you aren’t good at that stuff you’ll probably have a hard time of it. The grill itself, though, once it’s put together is absolutely top quality.

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We’re sorry to hear that you had trouble reading the instructions. Your experience is important to us, and we always looking for ways to improve and as this was out very frist batch we are already taking steps to improve the instructions.

If you need any clarification or assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out through our website or you can always email me at Rachael@chudsbbq.com

Great Product

Easy to assemble- though you need a helper. Beautfull to behold

Need a few more cooks to speak to output and durability, but if you are serious, this hits the spot.

If not, go buy an SNS or Weber kettle

ALMOST THERE!

It's new so there were some bugs in the install instructions, but Brad's video was a help. Rachel also helped a bunch. I would have liked to see the ability to adjust the height of the charcoal basket to give better temp control, but I guess I will have to work on my fire management skills. Also interested in accessories like a rotisserie since it does have cutouts for one.

Thanks for the review, we have been reviewing the instructions to ensure they’re clearer for everyone in the future. There is a way to adjust the height of the charcoal basket, I will shoot you an email following this with some pictures for reference! Thanks for the support

That'll do, Donkey.

Great grill. Luxury buy for sure. The communication, once it finally got shipped was good. The packaging was outstanding. The assembly was easy enough. The picture instructions, while appreciated, were a little unclear. I believe some parts that the instructions referenced were already assembled, while other steps seemed to be missing. And some parts came in after the grill showed uo but no big deal. I have used it (3) times now and will say that it does a really good job, and my guess is, I will fall in love with this grill like so many of us have with our Weber Kettles. Really, my only beef is that the sliding grate system gets stuck when trying to slide back and forth if it even gets slightly out of line. This has been annoying to have to pick up off the grill to adjust while you have a ripping hot coal bed below. Other than that, it's a solid grill. And MAN, how cool do you look when your friends come over! 😉

Howdy Matthew,
Our customer service and communitcation is very imporant to us, we sent out a few Chud Grill Updates to your email prior to shipment, but it’s possible it may have ended up in your spam or promotions folder by mistake! We understand that our instructions need improvment and have been reviewing and changing them accordling so we don't run into this problem in the furture!

The biggest issue is if the frame is new when heats up it can expand a bit causing the sliding grate to fall in the track. An easy fix is to hammer the frame a bit inward, which will prevent that. I hope this helps! Feel free to reach out through out website or email Rachael@chudsbbq.com with any questions or concerns! Thanks for the support!
